As we continue to live through the current pandemic, we know that there are stresses and struggles that impact everyone and we could all use a little extra care. That’s why we’ve decided that for 2022, our overall Act of Kindness strategy is Kindness Through Gift-giving. This more personal approach to giving back opens the door for new opportunities and greater impact. Our goals for the year include:

  1. $10,000 total in cash donations to local, national and global organizations.
  2. Partnership with Wellspring Cancer Support Centre – Wellspring provides supportive care programs to help Canadians who are living with cancer.
  3. $1000 in items split between 3 gift baskets to the Light-Up Wellspring.
  4. 100 gift bags to local shelters, food banks, retirement homes, etc.

Our secondary giving focus is always on our own customers and community. It is because of your generous support and gift-giving that we are able to give back to the community, so we want to make sure you feel appreciated, loved and special too. We have always loved adding little extras into each of our mail outs and since 2021, we have put even more effort into gifting each person who shops with and believes in us with a little something more.
