When wearing a mask, it is important to follow the proper procedure so that you don’t cross-contaminate. Statistics clearly show that countries that started out wearing masks as soon as possible when their country was hit with COVID-19 lowered the trajectory of the spread of the disease vs. those that didn’t wear masks or started wearing masks later. Here are a few tips:

  • Before putting on a mask, clean your hands
  • Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and make sure there are no gaps
  • Avoid touching the mask while using it. (WHO)
  • Mulberry silk is known as the softest, smoothest quality of silk. Other than being unbelievably soft and smooth, it also has health benefits. Silk discourages microbial growth through wicking water which discourages bacteria and fungi from growing. (Cozy Earth)
