CANOE ART PRINT
All proceeds from our Lake Life collection will be donated to the Saakaate House Women’s Shelter, located near Lake of The Woods in Kenora, ON.
Today, canoes are a staple of cottage recreation, but do you know the history behind them? Canoes were an important part of early North American trade and transportation since they were light enough to carry through terrain but strong enough to carry supplies across the water. Originally, most canoes were made by Indigenous people using the birch-on-frame technique, while today many canoes are made using a woon-on-canvas technique.
Our fine art prints are museum-quality on matte pura smooth 300gsm OBA-free paper using the best archival inks.
