LAKE OF THE WOODS ART PRINT

All proceeds from our Lake Life collection will be donated to the Saakaate House Women’s Shelter, located near Lake of The Woods in Kenora, ON.

Lake of The Woods occupies parts of Canadian provinces Ontario and Manitoba, as well as the US State of Minnesota. Minnesota’s Northwest Angle (see the bear just south of Shoal lake) is the northernmost point of the contiguous United States, and can only be reached by crossing the lake or  traveling through Canada. The Angle actually became US territory due to early border negotiators misunderstanding the area’s geography.
