LAST NIGHT A CUDDLE SAVED MY LIFE ART PRINT
It seems like such a simple thing, but a hug can be one of the most powerful forms of human interaction in existence. Whether you call it a cuddle or hug, the act of snuggling is also an essential part of our emotional and social development. Touch is one of our five senses but research has consistently shown that many people in the West are touch-deprived.
This design is meant to remind us of the power of simply reaching out and giving a hug. Many illnesses, both mental and physical, go unseen to the outside world and those suffering can feel the need to self isolate rather than reaching out for help. It can be difficult as a loved one to know how to help. Touch and the simple act of a hug can be enough to help someone turn a corner and see the light. It can show your care without needing to think of the right words.
This series of designs was inspired by our founder, Karla and the things that she finds the most comfort in as she deals with the pain and anxiety of living with stage four cancer.
