REACH OUT FOR HELP ART PRINT
Around the world, one person ends their life every 40 seconds. This equates to nearly 800,000 per year with some estimates suggesting that this is closer to a million. Suicide is the second most leading cause of death amongst 15-29-year-olds and as a result, teenage suicide is a global health concern. Adolescents’ mental health has significantly declined in recent years, with an increase in the number of people being diagnosed with depression and anxiety. One study found that 20% of teenagers experience depression before they reach adulthood.
This design spreads the message of the importance of reaching out and asking for help. Whether it is a trusted adult, a friend, a family member, or a professional, speak up and ask for help.
